SLB (Solid Lubrication Technology) Wheel & Bottom Bracket Bearings.
With an SLB bearing the balls aren’t retained with cage but with a almost fully encapsulating polymer. Its allows a very small but exact amount of ball to pertrude and contact the inner and outer races.
For use in wheels and BB’s the combination of the RS (rubber seal) and the SL technology will keep the balls and races totally clear of dirt, contamination, pitting and premature failure from jet washing or over degreasing.

The 6805-2RS is commonly used with Hollowtech, Hollowtech II, Campagnolo Power Torque, Raceface and FSA chainsets.
