What delivery options do we offer?

For UK orders we can send your goods by:
Royal Mail 1st class post
Royal Mail signed for 1st class post
DHL/TNT next day
For orders outside the UK we can send your goods by:
Royal Mail international tracked & signed/signed/tracked (option depends on country)
DHL/TNT 2-5 days (delivery time depends on country)

Do we charge for delivery?

Yes, all orders placed are charged either for 1st class post or signed for 1st class post, the delivery option used is based on your order value.
Orders below £30.00 are sent via 1st class post at a charge of £1.00
Orders of £30.00 or above are sent via signed for 1st class post at a charge of £2.00
Both options should arrive within 1-2 days but this is not guaranteed. The signed for option can be tracked on the Royal Mail website.
B2B (Trade) members get postage paid on all orders.

Do we deliver to places outside the UK?

Yes, all orders placed that are outside the UK are subject to a delivery charge. This a flat rate fee for all destinations at £12.00 which will be sent either by Royal Mail international tracked & signed, signed or tracked. The postage option chosen depends on the country it is going to.
All international orders can be tracked via the Royal Mail website.
All orders sent to international destinations are estimated to take anywhere between 5-7 days but this is not guaranteed.

What if your order doesn’t arrive?

We send out the majority of items using Royal Mail services, according to Royal Mail they don’t consider an item lost until 10 days (international postage isn’t considered lost until 25 days after date of postage) after the date of postage. If you are not in a rush for your item please wait until after the 10 days to get in touch with us as we can’t open a case with Royal Mail until after 10 days has passed. If you are in a rush get in touch with us and we will make a decision to send out replacements if stock allows and then you can return the original items when they turn up.

Returns & Refunds

Can I return it if there’s nothing wrong with it?
Absolutely! We offer a 14 day returns policy, valid after the day on which you receive your goods. So if you need to bring it back, just bring it back to the shop. Or if you got it delivered, you can send it back to us in the post.
As soon as we receive the item back, we’ll either refund your money onto the original payment method or offer you an exchange. Easy.
You just need these 2 things:
Your proof of purchase (Order number, email order confirmation etc)
The item should be unused, in its original packaging and in a re-sellable condition
If the item or the packaging has been handled excessively to assess the goods (i.e. more than you would if you were buying it in a shop) we reserve the right to reduce the amount of refund to you.

Can I return my item if there’s something wrong with it?

Absolutley! We run a fair usage policy here at Aire Velo Bearings. If you feel your bearing has failed prematurely just ring us on 0113 256 5676 (8am to 5pm Mon-Fri) or send us a message to returns@airevelobearings.com & we will review your case and determine if the bearing has lasted a reasonable amount of time or failed prematurely.
A reasonable amount of time is pretty vague, but we consider 1 year a reasonable amount of time for a bearing to last, however due to the application of bearings on a bike there can be all sorts of factors that contribute to failure such as contamination/water ingress or god forbid jet washing your bike!
Unfortunately sometimes there is a chance of a defective bearing. If you feel your bearing is defective on delivery please get in touch via the above options and we will either issue a full refund or offer a replacement. (We will also ask you to send the defective bearing back to us so we can get it checked for defaults by our manufacturers).
As soon as we receive the item back, we’ll either refund your money onto the original payment method or offer you an exchange. Easy.

How do I return my item?

Please send all returns to Aire Bearings Ltd, 34 Bradford Road, Stanningley, Leeds, LS28 6DD.
Please include a copy of your proof of purchase so we know who we are dealing with.

How long will my refund take?

As soon as we receive the item back, we’ll start the refund. However, it may take 5 – 7 days for paypal or your bank to process the money back to your account. All refunds will be processed within 14 days.

What counts as proof of purchase?

Any of these:
till/kiosk receipt
confirmation email
e-receipt
your order number
If you can’t find one of the above, don’t worry. We should be able to sort everything out if you have:
your card/bank statement
the email address used to buy your item

I posted my item for a refund/replacement. What happens now?

As soon as we get the item back, we’ll sort out your refund or replacement, if you want an update just give us a call on 0113 256 5676 or send a message to returns@airevelobearings.com. It may take 5-7 days to appear in your account (depending on your bank).
